Happily Ever Waycaster: Wedding Blog Series

What did Josh and I celebrate the most ringing in 2019? The year of our wedding is behind us! One thing I really want to do now that the whole business is done is to write a blog series about it. Much like my Croatia blog series, I wanted to do an introduction post. This post will also act as a landing page for all of the posts I write on the subject.

Why Write a Wedding Blog Series?

I did accomplish a lot more than I thought I could while also planning a wedding last year, but when it comes down to it, wedding planning was my life in 2018. Now that I actually have time to blog again, I am excited to share the experience with everyone. There are a lot of reasons that I want to write this series. First and most importantly, it was a very special event in my life, and I want to write about it.

It is no secret that Josh and I are huge nerds that found each other in the cosmos. Our wedding was not just a celebration of our love, but a celebration of everything that we are as a couple. I hope that our experience will inspire and help others in their process as well.

What Will the Series Include?

There are a lot of different things that I want to write about. I have even created a sub-category for these posts called “Our Wedding,” so it is easy to find.

This post will also act as a table of contents for the series as it grows. The series is not going to be rushed, so it will probably be several months until all the posts have been written. Below is a list of the blog posts I plan to write, and as I publish the posts, I will populate the list with links to each individual post.

  • Planning a themed wedding
  • I Said ‘Yes’ to the Dress
  • Bridal Party
  • Engagement Session
  • Bridal Portrait Session
  • Our Story and Ceremony
  • Reception
  • Special Thanks

I cannot wait to share our wedding with you! What are you most excited about with this new series? What do you want to hear more about from our big day? The list above is not set in stone. Make a suggestion if you feel like there is something you want out of this series. Leave a comment below, and don’t forget to subscribe via email or Bloglovin’ to never miss a post!
