Why I chose to make this costume:

I found this artwork by Bussiarati on X thanks to my cousin, and immediately knew I had to become her!

Thoughts on this costume:

This costume was my first custom spider-costume meaning that (with permission from the artist) I hired Gun Head Design to design a file for a custom printed suit from HerosTime. It was a fun process being able to have input on specifics around how the suit would look. I added the hip webbing with rhinestones and glitter tulle. The snaps were a pain in the butt to sew, and looking back, I probably would have done this a bit differently given the chance. The glasses were a white pair from Amazon, and then I used car vinyl to turn the lenses pink while still being able to see out of them. It was a fast project, and I love pulling her out of the closet every now and then for an easy day in cosplay.
