Con Haul: Dragoncon 2016

I know people already know that I survived my first Dragoncon! It truly was a magical time, and I cannot wait to go back next year. Surprisingly, I got my Con Vlog out before my blog posts where I promise that I will have a con haul post up soon. Two weeks later, and here we are.

The Ultimate Con Haul Item

The truth is that I didn’t actually didn’t buy that much because at the Night at the Aquarium event I got engaged! We were standing in front of the beluga whale tank when to my surprise Josh got down on one knee and popped the question. All the convention merchandise seemed to just not really stand out compared to the awesome gift I received that weekend.

Even though I didn’t feel like buying all that much after such a surprising moment I did get some stuff. I have an impulse buyer inside of me, and sometimes you just have to keep the caged beast happy. Check out the photos to see what I came home with.

I am now fully obsessed with Funko Figures, so I bought this Venus for two reasons. I was actually wearing my Sailor Sock Hop Venus for the first time that day, and now my Luna isn’t so lonely.

Josh bought this surprise PokeEgg that had a Shiny Mew embryo inside of it. Every egg came with a different baby Pokemon inside of it.

I love to buy ties for my guys. They had a two-for deal, so I got a Totoro tie for Josh and a Darth Vader Tie for my little bro.

This is the first item at a con I ever waited in line to get. Yaya Han made an unexpected appearance the last day of the con, and I had to get her to sign the print of her favorite outfit. I love that she personalized it and wrote, “Keep Dreaming, Keep Creating!”
