Why I chose to make this costume:
I really wanted to make something from Zenescope since they were going to be at Heroes Con in Charlotte this year, and my friend Misty was making an Alice Liddle costume (featured in this photo gallery).
Thoughts on this costume:
I made this costume in a day using one of those generic costume patterns from Simplicity (0511) that I always associate with patterns that were available to my mom for Halloween base pattern options growing up. At the time, this was a fun challenge, and the costume turned out so cute for how quick it came together.
The folks at the Zenescope booth were super nice and welcoming to us, and it was fun to pose with the booth and the comic cover we were dressed up from.
