Happy Birthday to Me!

Today is my 27th birthday. Anyone who knows me knows how much I love my birthday. I couldn’t really tell you why I love it so much, but maybe it has something to do with I get to celebrate me. I realize that probably sounds pretty self-centered, but my birthday is like my own personal new years. I get to reflect on another year of life that has passed me by, and look forward to everything still to come.

Goodbye 26.

There have been ups and downs in my 26th year of life, but overall, I raise a glass to you 26! I have had so much self realization in the past year it is unbelievable. My whole life I’ve always known that I could do anything I want to do, but I’ve also always felt as though I have this fire inside me. The kind of fire where you know it’s going to just explode someday, and you just can’t figure out what to do with it. That feeling has really been causing major pull in my heart this year. Thanks to all of my friends and family and you (yes, you reading this) for allowing me to explore myself. I really feel like I’m pretty close to figuring out how to harness and unleash that potential.

Plus I got engaged! How cool is that? Josh, you’re seriously a trooper, and I’m so happy to have found someone who supports me. When I have a crazy idea you don’t tell me to back down or hide my light from the world, and that means more to me than you will ever know. I love you. Thanks for putting up with me.

Hello 27.

So, what will 27 bring for me? I’ve already got people asking me if I feel old yet. The answer is absolutely not! That passion inside of me? 27 is going to be dedicated to really trying to set it ablaze. There are a lot of things at play that I plan on setting into motion over the next year that I cannot wait to share with all of you. Sorry for being vague there, but it’s all about timing.

As always I am very grateful for how much you guys support me. I wanted to let you know that if you ever wanted to support what I do just being active in your posts by sharing or commenting helps. I also have an Amazon Wishlist if you’re wondering a different way to add to what I do. It has stuff for cosplays on my list, but also things like tools to help me learn and grow in my craft.  Ultimately, if you see my stuff and it makes you feel inspired then that is all I can really ever ask for because sharing my light with the world is the best gift that I could imagine! Thanks for reading my sappy birthday post. When is your birthday? Don’t forget to subscribe via email or Bloglovin’ to never miss a post!

PS If it is your birthday today as well, Happy Birthday! If not, well, A Very Merry Unbirthday to you!

Happy Birthday, Sadie! First – these photos are amazing. Second, who is asking you if you feel old?? 27 is still young 🙂

People older than me that want me to feel as old as they do. Anywho, Thank you! The photos made my jaw drop. Willie is the best!
