November 2016 Wrap-up

Another month come and gone. It seems crazy that it is already time for December. My attitude has been much improved since last month’s post. Positive attitude really does change everything. I didn’t get as many blog posts out as I wanted this month, but I’m OK with that. Let me tell you why!

First, I finished this awesome closet cosplay in no time for Big Fandom Greenville. I wish I hadn’t been so hungover all day, but it was awesome! There was this awesome bat family portrait session with some of my favorite people, and I helped host my first panel with the SC Upstate Heroes on cosplaying for the greater good. I’ll share more photos from our bat shoot when I have them back.

On the cosplay note. I’ve been working my butt off to get the cosplay room functional again. I don’t want to share too much because I fully intend to do an overview of the process in a separate blog post and vlog tour when I’m finished. Tonight I got some of the decorative shelving hung up for my figurines, and It just looks so stunning. I can’t wait for it to be completely organized.

Last year, I did cosplay Christmas cards, and they were, to my shock, extremely beloved by everyone that received one. I decided that I would make this a tradition that will hopefully last as long as my love for cosplay does. I was able to give a sneak peak of our shoot for the cards, and let me just say I cannot wait to share the final photos with you. They are awesome, but you’ll have to wait until closer to Christmas to see them!

It’s funny because I feel like a lot of people have thought November was just the end of the world because of recent current events. I’ll be honest there have been some things that have been a little meh, but I’m happy I haven’t let them stop this forward movement for me. Rather than go on and on about every little detail in my month here are a few more things that happened this month.

  • Thanksgiving
  • Shopping trip and first solo time with my future sister-in-law
  • My car is fixed thanks to the kindness of a friend
  • The deductible from my accident was returned because my insurance is kickass
  • I’m thinking I’m finally going to buy this t-shirt I’ve been wanting for months
  • We got a new member of the family, Goblin

I have to brag on my blog a bit too before I wrap-up the wrap-up because not only was Cosplay in Croatia my most viewed post ever, but this November was also the month with the most views ever on my blog! Thank you so much for your support. Tell me about your month. Leave a comment. Don’t forget to subscribe via email or Bloglovin‘ to never miss a post!
