SC Comicon Countdown Begins

It’s hard to believe, but SC Comicon is only three weeks away. TIME TO PANIC BECAUSE NONE OF MY COSPLAYS ARE DONE… Just kidding, but I did want to take a minute to talk about it.

Collaboration

I have the pleasure of announcing that I will be a guest cosplayer at the table of my good friend Lance Footer. If you haven’t seen his artwork then you can check it out here. He is a legally blind artist that does work I couldn’t do with both eyes wide open. He even has a few of little ol’ me.

He kindly asked if I would like to share a table with him for this convention. I am excited to say that I will be doing more than just prints at my end of the table. I plan to have cosplay prints there, as well as sign ups for birthday party appearances, and quite possibly taking on some commissions. Make sure you come say hi!

Cosplay

Ok. The time to panic wasn’t completely a lie. None of my cosplays for this are done yet. The plan for this convention was to bring Captain Marvel and Tinkerbell. Unfortunately, with my travel schedule for work that just won’t be possible. Instead I will be bringing Carrie Kelley (she’s a pretty badass, female version of Robin) and Tinkerbell. I cannot wait to show them to you. There will be some progress posts and tutorials over the next few weeks on these two costumes.
